GAINESVILLE, Fla. — A new message is making its way across North Central Florida’s television screens, radio stations and digital platforms: BLACK MEN WIN.

Over the next 30 days, 100 Black Men of Greater Florida Gainesville is launching a regional media campaign designed to celebrate the positive impact Black men make every day while encouraging greater community engagement. More than a slogan, WIN serves as an acronym for the values driving the organization’s work:

• M – Mentoring
• W – Working
• I – Innovation & STEM
• N – August/November Elections

The campaign reflects the chapter’s belief that strong communities are built by men who invest in young people, pursue economic opportunity, embrace innovation and participate in the civic process.

For decades, 100 Black Men chapters across the country have championed mentorship as the cornerstone of community transformation. Through educational initiatives, leadership development and STEM programming, the organization equips young people with the tools to succeed while connecting them with accomplished professionals who model excellence and service.

The addition of civic engagement to the BLACK MEN WIN campaign reinforces another long-standing priority of the organization: encouraging informed participation in the democratic process. Nationally, 100 Black Men of America has emphasized voter education through initiatives such as its “Real Men Vote” campaign, underscoring the importance of making every voice count.

As the campaign reaches audiences throughout North Central Florida, chapter leaders hope the message resonates far beyond a billboard or broadcast. They envision BLACK MEN WIN as a reminder that success is measured not only by personal achievement, but by the willingness to mentor, innovate, work with purpose and strengthen communities through informed civic participation.
